Womens Bible Study
Date: January 27, 2025
Time: 10:30 - 11:30 am
Length: 8 weeks
Cost: $8.00 members
$8.00 non-members
Instructor: Rosetta Love
Location: Game Room
Description: By Women’s Bible Study we don’t mean one of those gender specific Bibles. It should be more accurately titled as Bible Study for Women. The class is taught by Rosetta Love. Each 8 week session the class goes over a different book in the Bible. Rosetta has also taught it at her church. Students will need to bring their own bible, but it doesn’t matter which translation it is. There are other handouts provided by Rosetta.
Featured Activity
Cross Training Equipment
Time: Dailys
Cost: members
non-members
Location: Execise Room
Description: Our members will appreciate this: New exercise equipment! A long while back we tried to take a survey of those who use the exercise room, assessing what types of equipment they would like us to get. No surveys were turned in, although thoughts were scribbled on the poster announcing the survey. Still, not to be deterred, we were able to purchase some 'Life Fitness' equipment. We now have a new treadmill, an elliptical cross trainer, and a recumbent bike, replacing much older equipment. We hope to eventually replace all of our old equipment, getting several exercise circuits in place. Check your newsletter to see when the equipment is available for use and be prepared to break a sweat.

Dave Mitchell Retires
By: Mike Sylva
Last month we bid a fond farewell to Dave Mitchell, our longtime bookkeeper. Having started with us in February 2001, he and his wife Bonnie decided to retire together. So after 15 years of making sure all our numbers added up, and that we dotted our i’s and crossed our t’s he has decided to take a well earned rest.
However, he won’t be gone for good as he is planning on becoming a member and looks forward to coming in and having fun, possibly taking some trips and getting into Wii Bowling. Dave, we’re sorry to see you go, but look forward to welcoming you back!
